A second small note ..note.. (LOL) just kidding ..but seriouly ..if you don't know where a location or city is, then go to www.mapquest.com and search the city or the address.

"Historical Bar"
DRIFT INN
12698 DIXIE / South Huron Drive
SOUTH ROCKWOOD, MICHIGAN
6pm
734-379-3823
This Historic site where the bar is located was at one time a stable for the Michigan State Police Horses. Right across the street on the N/E corner of Dixie Highway and South Huron River Drive where a gas station is now located was the site of the 1917 established 1st Michigan State Police Post. A river patrol to block the smuggling of liquor from Canada was established here during probation. Later it moved to Rockwood, one mile north where a new State Police Post was erected in 1930. The old Rockwood city hall. This bar has had many names throughout the years. It was Mario's, B-Merry, Chucks and now is the Drifts Inn.
They serve Dinners with fries, slaw, roll and butter. The dinners range from Fried Chicken to fish, frog legs etc. They have Burgers for only $2.65. You can double any burger for a buck. They have their famous Stacked Ham. It is almost a pound of ham with 2 sliced of cheese with lettuce and tomatoes. They have sandwiches and a Mexican Fiesta menu too. Happy hour on Fridays between 3pm and 6pm is only $1.50 beer.
If interested in join me call so I can RSVP how many of us Red hatters will be there.
